Gmail & Calendar

Thoughtstead syncs your Gmail and Google Calendar so messages and meetings show up alongside everything else you capture.

Connecting

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Connect next to Gmail, Google Calendar, or both.
  3. Google asks which account you want to use and what Thoughtstead may see. Approve it, and you land back in the app connected.

That is the whole setup. There is no Google Cloud project to create, no OAuth client to register, and no environment variable to set — Thoughtstead is a hosted service and that plumbing is ours to run.

What it asks for, and why

Disconnect at any time from the same page. Thoughtstead discards the tokens Google issued when you do.

Which context it syncs into

Mail and calendar sync into the context you connected them from. Connect from Business and your work mail stays in Business. If you want your personal calendar in your Personal context, switch contexts first and connect it there — the two never merge.

Keeping it current

Sync runs automatically once a day. For an immediate pull, use Sync now on the Connectors page.
